Admission Policy – Govt Technical College

Announcement of Admission:-

Availability of the Institute prospectus and last dates for the receipt of admission forms are published in the daily newspapers every year.

Eligibility:

Admission to DAE courses in Government Polytechnic institute Peshawar shall be open to the candidate having the following qualifications.

Metric / secondary school certificate (SSC) with science subject.
Technical school certificate (TSC) / two years vocational / grade-II level with matric in science on the specified seats only.
The candidate must have at least 40% marks in secondary school certificate examination.

Age Limit:

Upper age limit to the 1st year class of DAE on the last date, fixed for receipt of admission form is “20 years” two years relaxation in the upper age limit may be granted by the chairman BTE, Peshawar for which the applicants shall have to deposit Rs. 1000/- in addition to the normal admission fee.
admission will not be granted to any applicant who is more than “22 years” of age on the last date, fixed for receipt of admission form in any shift.
lower age limit to the 1year class of DAE on the last date, fixed for receipt of admission forms is “16years”.
